Customer Care Representative
DealOn, one of the fastest growing daily deal websites, is looking for a bright, energetic Customer Care Representative to join our team in Somerville, NJ.
In order to be successful in this position you will need to have a positive attitude, professional demeanor, patience and determination. Part of your day-to-day responsibilities will include answering phone calls, email and chats from customers and vendors inquiring about our daily deals. Outstanding written and verbal communications are critical to this role. Experience with Microsoft Office and intermediate typing skills are necessary for this role.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answer customer inquires, research and resolve customer issues
- Manage each customer interaction with utmost professionalism, courtesy and responsiveness
- Maintain a proactive approach in meeting customer needs and expectations within the confines of DealOn’s corporate guidelines
- Remain current on all new service offerings, promotional offerings and processes
- Demonstrate excellent analytical skills, including identification of root problem, utilization of tools and resources
- Contribute to maintaining a positive and professional atmosphere
- Passion for providing world class customer service
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Minimum 3 years Customer Service experience in a Call Center environment.
- Minimum education level equal to that of a high school graduate, BA or some college course work preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to analyze situations accurately and take effective action
- Ability to provide feedback up and down the organization
- Must be able to prioritize and react quickly in the event of changes
- Well organized, detail & process orientated with customer focus
- Experience using SalesForce.com or other customer relationship management tool highly desired
- Office management experience a plus but not necessary
- Bilingual (Spanish/ English) a plus but not required
